| At my site, I have a calendar of events. It does concentrate on whats going happening in the "west", but I'm trying to make it include everywhere (USA - Canada - Japan - UK - etc...)
http://www.thezenthusiast.com/
theZenthusiast.com
I'll have to start browsing the "east coast" Z calendars again to make sure I include some of your "big" events ..

| I started my own calendar because I wanted to know (as best as I could) know what other Z groups were doing across the country. Since I was gathering all the information via forums or club calendars anyway .. I figured why not try to consolidate the data for others to use.
Who knows .. someone might be traveling from CA to say .. NJ or NY or AZ or TX .. they could check my calendar to see if anything Z-related is going on. Vice Versa for anyone heading "west".
I'm not trying to replace any club's calendar .. and I only put up what I think are the "big events" anyway.
I started doing this when I was the webmaster for ZONC in NorCAL. But I got my hands slapped by close minded leaders that felt that ZONC would be held liable for any events listed on the ZONC calendar. It wasn't worth arguing that all I was doing was providing INFORMATION and it was up to the individual reading the informatoin to act upon it.
Anyway - that's the reason I started my own calendar. I accept no $ for doing so. It's as accurate as it can be and I always provide the url of the sponsoring club or poc information for details.
I'll make a note to keep up on the ECZA website (its good tht it's back up) and pay more attention to the NJCC calendar as well.
Now .. If you don't want your events listed on my calendar, let me know and I will comply.
