Fuel Consumption Empty
PostSubject: Fuel Consumption   Fuel Consumption EmptySun Nov 16, 2008 11:10 am

While reading several articles about 2004 Nissan 350Z Roadster, I found several that talked about changing the fuel filler cap to a type that is vented. This apparently gives much greater fuel milage.... ( Better MPG).
Does anyone know anything about this, does it work, how do you do it?
Thanks...
Sal

Sal,

I've never heard of this phenomenon. The closest thing I've read related to a vented fuel cap is related to an issue with filling the tank. In some cases the gas pump will stop pumping gas into the tank but the tank is only half full.

Could you direct me to an article of which you are referring, perhaps I can help after I read it.

Jorge
