CTZCC Fall Outing - October 18th, 2008
The vision for this year's Fall outing is "strengthening friendships and relaxing". So clean the cars if you must but don't go crazy - the most important part of the event is YOU, not your car. As an example, how great is it to talk to and hang out with Frank, the CTZCC Membership- Director, and we've never even seen his car! Some have hypothesized that Frank is actually a plant from the Porsche club because they heard we were having "too much fun for no money" and wanted to figure out how they could do that.
Back to our event on October 18th
PLEASE BRING:
* A folding lawn chair
* Sunglasses
* Camera
* A significant other - spouses, kids, other Z fans - all are welcome
* Z parts that you want to donate to good homes (I still have parts from the July show that I will be giving away especially Dave Sirico's fender if he doesn't take it with him!)
PLEASE DO NOT BRING:
* Car wax, windex, rags, etc
* Wine
* Plants
* Food
* People that are going to bug you to leave early
* Money
This event will be paid for with proceeds from our July show, which Nissan Darien was kind enough to fund.
So put it on the calendar and when your spouse tells you of another committment that day, remember Nancy Regan's slogan and "just say no!".
Spot "A" on the map is Paramus Park Mall I'll meet people there in the northeast corner of the mall lot at 8:50AM
Spot "B" on the map is Palisades Center Mall I'll meet people there in the little section of the lot at 9:30AM
Spot "C" on the map is the first Fuel/Rest Area in the Merritt Parkway in CT I'll meet people there at 10:10AM
That should get us to the party at around 10:45, or fashionably late
to people that come only to want to leave early. arrrg thats so irritating.
