| Finally decided to go HID so got the DDM 55W/6000K kit. Already put a DDM kit in my wife's Odyssey and it went really smooth. Not on the Z, unfortunately, so need some help. The DDM kit for lo beams looks pretty straightforward until you look at the bulb harness (on the left in pic below). The bulb is the correct socket type (9006), but it appears to have an extra wire running through the weather seal that I'm tempted to cut off and pull out. Whaddya think? Anyone else experience this with the DDM HID 9006 kit? Did I get the right bulb harness from DDM or should I ask them to ship me one w/o the extra power harness? I just don't understand why that's in there.... | |

| Next question is on location for the ballasts. I would really like them to be under the headlight buckets, but that seems darn near impossible re: access unless I can get to it through the turn signal opening...
What did you guys do? | |

| If you are talking about the 2-pin male on the top of your picture, that plugs into the harness of the car that turns on the actual lights. The 2-pin female plugs into there you said 2-pin male for the harness, the female plugs into that. Thats what i just did this weekend cuz i got HIDs for xmas. | |

| But the power wires passing through the weather seal are just point-to-point. Adding that between the ballast and the vehicle just makes it longer, and doesn't actually do anything.
Plus the top plug can not be inside the weather seal if the weather seal is pushed up against the back of the headlamp socket. | |
