" Overall, the 370Z — which is being developed under the code name C53D — appears to keep the same general shape as the current 350Z. However, the front headlights — which will reportedly use LEDs — are much more dramatic than the current car’s and can be clearly seen in our illustration and the leaked image. The rear also seems to be a bit stubbier, with a sharper crease along the trailing edge of the hatch.

The 370Z is expected to use the same VQ37VHR powerplant found in the Infiniti G37 — a V6 displacing 3.7L — delivering at least 330 horsepower. "

I like it but it still has the 350z look to it big time....I figured they'd try to make it look a little different then the 350Z

Agreed. The G37 coupe is nicer IMO.

Based off the 350Z, I would not buy this vehicle...

I'm with Barry, I think the Z32 is still the most gorgeous and well built Z car on the road. I know, I'm so biased!!!

Not really the Z32 was the biggest Z ever marketed, they sold out quick when they first launched both TT and NA.... The Z32 is perfection, and one of "Car and Driver's" Top Ten cars, since it launched, and it still to this day makes the list every time!

Hmmmm, might grow on me. Its a Z, so I will give it the benefit of the doubt. I would take my TT Z32 any day over that though.

i just don't like the lines of the car.it looks like a vw bug had an affair with a tiburon.

if i won that car in a free raffle, i'd sell it for the $$.

This is no doubt one ugly looking car.

the new z will resemble the little silver picture you have up....its going to be more of a throwback style to the 280z....my GM of nissan went to Las Vegas, for the GTR meeting and they had a proto Z, that they wouldnt let anyone take pics of....when i showed my boss some different protos i found online, he said the one like the silver was the closest

Nissan needs to go back to old school just like Ford, Dodge and Chevy did. Call me when this sexy concept gos in to production.









Old school designee + New school styling and technology = A new Z I might actually consider going even more in the endless abyss of debt for a Z.

Now I could get into the retro Z concept!

Somehow I don't see NISSAN or whatever company they merge with, will change the "lines" of the 350Z - 370Z or 390Z. I'm not sure who they're consulting with regards to styling .. but they are NOT being marketed for the s30 or z32 crowd. That's quite obvious .. LOL!

And the tooling and investment to do a drastic change a design (body style) is not economical .. the current design - is a compromise.

Would I buy a 370? No .. but I'd take one, if given to me .. I"d take a 350, IF it were given to me ...

Have to offer a different point of view there... Maybe the s30 crowd (a stretch) but most certainly not the z32 crowd. I know very few z32 owners who like the 350/370z... No offense to 350 owners or 350/z32 owners, but there's no visceral jump there for those who love the z32 lines to get a quickened pulse out of the 350. Just isn't there.
